Water preparation technologies with the help of ozone equipment First attempts to apply ozone in practice of water treatment aimed only at water disinfection. Although during ozone physicochemical characteristics study and its effect on chemical impurities of ground waters there was established quite a wide range of ozone effective application in water treatment technologies. Due to its high oxidative qualities and disinfection effect ozone could be considered a universal reagent to a certain extent. Ground water disinfection, decoloration, deodoration ( flavor and odor removal), removal of iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, carbolic acid, cyanides, surface active substances, pesticides, etc are effected with the help of ozone treatment. Ozone has a flocculation effect that allows to reduce water muddiness. Finally, ozone water treatment in comparison with chlorine treatment excludes the formation of highly firm and toxic chlorine derivatives, chlorine organic compounds. Inecs company offers development, construction and delivery of new treatment plants of ground waters as well as updating works and reconstruction of existing water treatment plants with the help of ozone equipment. Ozone treatment methods are used for removal of color of surface waters, organic compounds, oncogenic substances, unpleasant odor and flavor, iron Fe and manganese from ground waters, hydrogen sulfide and other dissolved gases. Ozone equipment of the leading Russian and foreign suppliers is used for treatment systems development. Technological scheme of physicochemical treatment with the help of ozone treatment has been developed for low muddy, highly chromium surface waters containing organic impurities. Water treatment process includes water treatment at fine screens where suspended solids, 300- and phytoplankton are removed. Further on water flows to reactor of primary ozone treatment. Ozone treatment of water is effected for deep oxidation of foreign substances, chromium reduction and primary disinfection. After primary ozone treatment water is processed with coagulant and is transformed to contact filters with double charging. Modern filter materials and sorptive medium are used as charging. Double charging enables to increase water treatment effect, filtration speed and total filter contaminant capacity. Hereafter, for providing deep and safe treatment, from clarified granular filters the water is pumped to reactor of final ozone treatment and further on to sorption filter. These two constructions provide effective oxidative-sorptive water treatment from organic impurities to the highest quality. This method gives the opportunity to secure water preparation of the drinking quality conforming with Sanitary insoection regulations 2.14.1074-01 "Potable water. Hygienic requirements for water quality".
