Roll-type post-treatment constructions

Sewage treatment constructions of a roll-type are meant for treatment of house-hold, domestic and close to them by structure industrial sewages with productivity more than 800 cu.m/day. ap to 50000 cu.m/day.

    The installation is meant for operation in the areas:
  • With rated winter temperature of outside air -60 oC
  • Normative snow loading till 320 kgs/cu.m
  • Fast wind pressure till 55 kgs/sq.m
  • Seismic activity till magnitude 9

The treatment constructions consist of containers of a roll type and of industrial building of modular-type containers.


Operation principle

Sewage treatment constructions of a roll-type consist of a settling aero tank block, post-treatment block and a block of aerobic stabilizer of surplus active sludge. The combination of the aero tank and settling tank in one construction allows reducing the volume of the settling aero tank by 25-30% compared to the volume of traditional aero tanks and secondary settling tanks. The aero tank has got a loading of Synthetic algae" type which allows saving the biomass, making the operation regime more stable to qualitative and quantitative changes of sewages.

The loading allows sustaining the sludge dose in the aero tank within 1-5 mg/l. The water from the aero tank comes into the inbuilt secondary settling tank, which works in the regime of lighting with suspended sludge layer. In the aero tank the system of reccirculation of the active sludge and drainage of surplus sludge into the aerobic stabilizer is used. From the secondary settling tank the water is coming to the post-treatment block.

After the post-treatment the water is coming to disinfection which can be done in different ways: by ultra-violet irradiation, ozonization, Sodium hypochloriting, calcium hypochloriting, gasiform chlorine. The technological process provides aerobic stabilization of surplus active sludge.

The aerobic stabilizer sludge concentration tank is a metal container with a conic bottom. The stabilizer is equipped with the system of pipelines providing aerobic stabilization, concentration and over pumping of sediment, as well as pouring and emptying of the concentration tank. The surplus active sludge is supplied to aerobic stabilizer-concentration tank from the secondary settling tank where the stabilization of surplus active sludge takes place. The dewatering of sediment happens either on a sludge filter or on a press-filter depending on productivity of the station.

In the construction of a settling aero tank the loading of "Synthetic algae" is used, which is a volume light cassette of stainless steel. The loading itself is a flexible fluffy garland of fishing line, entwined into a twisted wire core of stainless steel.

The post-treatment block has also got cassettes with synthetic algae. There are aerators for aeration and regeneration of the loading in the lower part of the cassettes.

All technological containers inside are covered with special anti-corrosive polyurethane polish. In post-treatment block bioreactors the gradual division of mechanical and organic impurities into fractions is happening. The use of synthetic algae loading allows reducing the volume of the construction and increasing the effect of treatment of sewages. The post-treatment block is made of two independent lines; each of them is rated for productivity of 75% of daily expense of sewages.


ADVANTAGES

1 All the technological equipment is placed inside the station
2 The mounting of roll constructions does not require large building volumes compared to classic ferro-concrete constructions. Compounding of stations allows reducing the area of arrangement of facilities.
3 Aerobic stabilization of sediment with its following dewatering allows rejecting the sludge platforms that in its turn, acc. to building rules and regulation 2.2.1/2.1.1.984-00, allows reducing the sanitary-protective zone.
4 The building of treatment constructions is designed and manufactured on production and technical base of Inecs Ltd. All the equipment is built in. Together with manufacturing of stations the preparation construction and mounting works are being conducted on the territory of a customer. Such way of woks production reduces the cycle of putting the object into operation. There is no need of using temporary constructions, depots and heavy machines.

The working experience in the far North allows considering and solving efficiently the problems of the customer under the concise terms of building and rigid requirements of nature-protective Law. The full complex of works on a turn-key base from the signing date of the contract is 5-6 months including construction-mounting works of water preparation and sewage modular-type stations on the customer's site from 2 to 4 weeks.
