Inecs company reconstructs active sewage treatment plants.
Highly skilled specialists visit the site, examine the state of
water treatment plants and offer the ways of their reсonstruction.
At our web site there is a page describing primatology facility
of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences situated in the Adler
region, Sochi, as well as the reconstruction project of the treatment
plants for the Institute of Medical Primatology done by Sochi State
University of Tourism and Recreation (SSUT&R) before and after reconstruction.
General technology was developed on the base of analysis results
of the examination of the Institute’s treatment plants :
1. To provide the flexibility and trouble-free
service of the sewage pumping station and operating costs reduction,
the sewage pumping station is reconstructed by the means of the
inflow system automation, receiving trap and hutch installation
for coarse particles, getting into the receiving waste water pit
of sewage pumping station. The main and reserve pump is switched
on and off according to the water level in the receiving tank.
2. To secure safe operation of the water treatment
plants, flow balance unit is planned to be reconstructed. The existing
balancing reservoirs are to be reconstructed, they are covered with
corrosion prevention mastic. The total volume of the balancing reservoirs
is 100 m3. To prevent the settling of suspended solids in the balancing
reservoir and to provide full mass exchange in the reservoirs, it
is planned to install mass exchange pump with the help of the time
switch. The receiving pit is to be overhauled.
3.
The reconstruction of the mechanical treatment block is done by
the removal from the technology of existing receiving traps and
sand traps and installation of the self-cleaning filter unit of
Inecs, Ltd, Russia production.
It is supposed to install two self-cleaning filter units of “UFS
1” type at specially equipped ground above the balancing reservoir.
“UFS” unit enables to avoid the construction of regulating clarifiers
provided in the Sochi State University of Tourism and Recreation
project.
4. To increase hydraulic pressure resistance as
well as to improve the quality of waste water treatment, the project
provides the reconstruction of aeration tank unit based on the recovery
of existing aerotank facilities, its cover with hydraulic insulation
and cases installation filled with synthetic feed of “Yorsh” type
with the system of small bubbling aeration.
5. In order to increase the capacity index of the
activated sludge clarifier the project provides reequipment of the
existing horizontal sludge clarifier with water flow feed passing
through the submerged weir into the vertical one with central water
feed. It is also intended to install catch water trays with triangular
weir, water drain system and recirculation of surplus active sludge.
6. The project covers biological waste water posttreatment
unit. Two metal containers of the dimensions 6,0x3,0x3,0 m each
are installed, the containers are covered with hydraulic insulation
mastic and charged with cases filled with synthetic feed of “Yorsh”
type and regeneration system. Existing containers are not used due
to their unavailability. The pipework is assembled for the regeneration
solution discharge.
7. The sludge treatment unit is installed based
on the aerobic stabilization of the surplus active sludge with the
following dehydration at the equipment of Inecs, Ltd production.
Aerobic stabilizer-sludge thickener with two taper bottoms and sludge
filter “IFG 6” is to be installed.
8. For the intensification of the sludge thickening
process, it is supposed to deliver positive ion flocculant into
the container of stabilizer-sludge thickener. The unit “Feya” is
used to prepare the flocculant. Sludge disinfection is effected
by the anti worm remedy substance “Bingsti”, which is dosed to the
stabilizer-sludge thickener.
9.
The project provides the replacement of the existing system of the
treated waste water disinfection with chloride lime for the UV-unit
of the channel type, installed directly at the treated waste water
discharge tray. The system of waste water disinfection with chlorine
substances is considered the reserved version.
10. To provide the technological process with air
it is supposed to replace worn out air blowers. The system of air
vent for compressed air feed into the aerotanks and into the bioreactor
of posttreatment is assembled.
The following units are excluded from the existing waste water treatment
technology:
- sand trap of water circulation
- sand and sludge drying grounds
- biological ponds
