Dewatering and sediment treatment


Sludge filter is a stainless storage container with a pipe branch, to which a disposable sack filter is attached. In sludge filter, in the disposable sack filter the process of dividing of solid and liquid sludge fractions through sack walls under pressure of incoming mixture of air and sludge takes place. The sack is placed in a metal supporting net. A sludge filter is equipped with a tray to collect filtration water.

Sacks are convenient to transport and to store. Moisture of dewatered sediment is 75-80%. Application of sludge filters allows rejecting sludge platforms what considerably reduces capital expenses on construction of sewage systems.

The equipment is rated to dewater 15-180 kg of dry mass of sediment a day.
